The ashes

How does love die?
Suffocated, drowned, buried, forgotten? In a final kiss or a last sunset?

This is the question that Manon and I tried to answer by combining our practices in this book of images of around a hundred pages. Manon's sequences depict the moments preceding a romantic breakup, a latent space where sensation takes precedence over reality. My drawings of cloudy skies are inserted, symbols of the ephemeral and the melancholy which can cause the end of a relationship.
